Announcement of a visit by a delegation from the CHU Nord Marseille to Gabès
As part of the cooperation project between the Gabès hospital and the CHU Nord de Marseille (France) initiated and sponsored by the Hédi Bouchamaoui Foundation, a visit by a French delegation to the Gabès hospital has been scheduled from November 28 to 30, 2022.
The Hédi Bouchamaoui Foundation organizes the “School Bags for All” operation 2022-2023
Faithful to its tradition, the Hédi Bouchamaoui Foundation proceeded, on the occasion of the start of the new school year 2022-2023, to distribute several hundred school bags containing books, notebooks, and all the school supplies necessary for needy students.
Day on university studies in Tunisia and abroad
The Foundation organized an information day on university studies in Tunisia and abroad , and this was in collaboration with Worldwide Studies, AIESEC, and the regional education delegation of Gabès. This day took place on June 04, 2022, at the “Gabès University Cultural Center” and targeted future graduates as well as students looking to continue their studies or their internships abroad.
Participation of the Hédi Bouchamaoui Foundation in the Forum on CSR
The Foundation participated in the Forum on CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) held in Hammamet from May 12th to 14th, 2022. This was the first event of its kind to be organized in Tunisia.
Creation of a digital space for the disabled of the APFTD in Bouchamma
With the support and thanks to the many interventions of the Foundation, a digital space dedicated to children, and more particularly to the disabled, has been set up by the "Solidarity and Innovation Foundation by UIB" at the APAHT center in Gabès (Association of Parents and Friends of Tunisians with Disabilities) located in the commune of Bouchamma.

Donation of an ultrasound scanner for the University Hospital of Gabès
The Hédi Bouchamaoui Foundation has just acquired, with the benevolent participation of the firm "General Electric", and donated a "Versana Balance" ultrasound scanner for the benefit of the University Hospital of Gabès and which was delivered on July 7, 2021.
Granting of university status to Gabès hospital
By virtue of a ministerial decree signed by the Ministers of Health, Higher Education, and Scientific Research and the Head of Government dated June 24, 2021; Gabès Hospital has been recognized as a University hospital. On this occasion, we congratulate all the citizens of the governorate of Gabès and those of southern Tunisia.
Covid-19 : Aides alimentaires au profit des familles nécessiteuses
La Fondation Hédi Bouchamaoui a procédé à la distribution de denrées alimentaires dans plusieurs agglomérations et quartiers du gouvernorat de Gabès.
Cette campagne d’aide aux familles dans le besoin, qui s’inscrit dans l’élan de solidarité nationale suite au Covid-19 et à l’occasion du mois de Ramadan, a touché plus de 500 familles.
Ces aides ont été livrées directement aux domiciles des personnes concernées afin de favoriser le confinement total et d’éviter la foule et le rassemblement dans les rues.
The Foundation donates 18 intensive care units
As part of its continued efforts and support for the health sector in Tunisia, the Hédi Bouchamaoui Foundation donated 18 intensive care units to five regional hospitals in the southern governorates: Gabès, Kébili, Médenine, Tataouine, and Zarzis.
The intensive care unit at Gabès University Hospital was named after the late Hédi Bouchamaoui
The intensive care unit of the University Hospital of Gabès was named after the late Hédi Bouchamaoui, as a tribute to his charitable work in the region, carried on by the Foundation bearing his name. We are grateful to the management and all the hospital staff for this recognition.
Information day on studying at European and North American universities
The Foundation, in collaboration with the consulting office "Worldwide Studies", the “Orientation and Rehabilitation Center-Corp" and the “Regional Education Commission of Gabès”, organized on Saturday, October 20, 2019, an information day with the theme: "Studies in European and North American Universities", which took place at the Regional Center for Education and Continuing Education.
Signature of a partnership agreement with Nancy-Metz Academy
The French Institute of Tunisia had the great pleasure of welcoming the Rector of the Academy of Nancy-Metz France and the Grand-Est region on the occasion of the signing of the partnership agreement between Nancy-Metz Academy, the Regional Commission for Education of Gabès and the Hédi Bouchamaoui Foundation on April 26, 2019, in Gabès.
Information Day on Studies in the United States
In collaboration with Columbia Global Center – Tunis and the Regional Education Commission of Gabès, the Hédi Bouchamaoui Foundation organized on August 29, 2018, an Information Day on Studies in American universities in general and the University of Columbia in New York in a special way. Two Tunisian students who had completed their studies at Columbia University led this day.
Renovation of 12 schools in the
Gabès region
The Foundation signed, in June 2016, an agreement with the Ministry of National Education that establishes a partnership for the implementation of an integrated, educational and cultural project aimed at improving the quality of education.
