Information day on studying at European and North American universities

The Foundation, in collaboration with the consulting office "Worldwide Studies", the “Orientation and Rehabilitation Center-Corp" and the “Regional Education Commission of Gabès”, organized on Saturday, October 20, 2019, an information day with the theme: "Studies in European and North American Universities", which took place at the Regional Center for Education and Continuing Education. This day saw the presence of Mr. Ezzedine Ounis, general coordinator of the Foundation.

The speakers discussed at length the organization of studies in European and American universities, as well as the conditions of access to these universities. There was an emphasis, in particular, on French, German, English, Canadian and American universities, which are the most popular choices for Tunisian students wishing to pursue their studies abroad. 

The speakers also insisted on the multiple procedures characterized by great deal of rigor and precision in the treatment of admission files, which are subject to several criteria, including among the most important language tests: the various French language tests (DELF / DALF / TCF /...), English language tests (TOEFL / IELTS / SAT ...), German language tests such as "TestDaf". In addition to other types of tests relating to the level of candidates, their competence, their personality, etc.

The participants also pointed out some common mistakes made by applicants and answered many questions about tuition fees, scholarships, and accommodation procedures. It should be noted that the day was of great interest to the various stakeholders in school life.
This day reinforced the information acquired during the day organized by the Foundation, to which specialists from Columbia University in New York, USA, were invited on August 27. Finally, it should be recalled that the Hédi Bouchamaoui Foundation was keen to invite pupils and students from all edges and social strata in order to respect the right access to information for everyone.
