Donation of Respirators to the Intensive Care Unit of Gabès Hospital
The arrival of respirators donated by the Hédi Bouchamaoui Foundation to the Intensive Care Unit of the Gabès Regional Hospital
The Hédi Bouchamaoui Foundation delivered 10 respirators to the Gabès Regional Hospital. Two more ventilators will arrive in the coming weeks. They will be accompanied by other respirators that the Foundation intends to offer to the regional hospitals of Kébili, Tataouine, Zarzis as well as to the University Hospital of Médenine. These hospitals have already received, for a few weeks, the first batch of supplies of respiratory and resuscitation systems. It should be recalled that these respirators were manufactured in Germany and that their arrival in Tunisia required considerable efforts on the part of the Foundation in view of the circumstances of the closure of certain maritime and air spaces and the significant demands for this type of equipment at the level of the global market.
Moreover, these devices have been recently developed and modernized: they will be the first models of this type to enter Tunisian hospitals. Thus, the intensive care unit and the resuscitation service of the Regional Hospital of Gabès will become one of the most advanced and modern services in terms of equipment compared to other resuscitation services in Tunisia.
It should be remembered that these systems are breathing systems and consist of:
→ 10 resuscitation respirators ,Model LYRA X2 with accessories
→ 12 trolley-mounted infusion stations, each composed of 10 syringe pumps
→ 1 infusion pump ,model MP-60
→ 12 Monitoring Monitors with Invasive Pressure and C02 Module
→ 01 monitoring station, for the entire resuscitation room
→ 10 resuscitation respirators ,Model LYRA X2 with accessories
→ 12 trolley-mounted infusion stations, each composed of 10 syringe pumps
→ 1 infusion pump ,model MP-60
→ 12 Monitoring Monitors with Invasive Pressure and C02 Module
