The Hédi Bouchamaoui Foundation honors the winners of the governorate of Gabès.
The Foundation celebrated Knowledge Day on Thursday, July 27, by organizing a graduation ceremony for the winners of the governorate of Gabès, under the aegis of the Regional Education Commission. The ceremony, held at the pilot college in Gabès, was enhanced by the presence of Messrs. Mongi Thameur (Governor of Gabès), Khaled Bouchamaoui (President of the HEDI BOUCHAMAOUI Foundation), Fathi Bardi (Regional Commissioner for Education), representatives of the educational body of the region and of civil society, as well as the laureates and their parents.
The Foundation took care of the logistics of the ceremony as well as the Prizes awarded to the winners of basic education and secondary education (all sections included). “Our contribution to this ceremony is a message of commitment for the Foundation, which has decided to put education at the top of its priorities.
“As part of the implementation of the late Hédi Bouchamaoui's program, the Foundation will continue its support program for education and culture in the governorate of Gabès for the foreseeable future before expanding our field of intervention to other governorates," said Mr. Khaled Bouchamaoui, President of the Foundation.
A firm commitment to education and knowledge
Through a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education, the Foundation is committed to setting up an integrated (educational and cultural) project whose objective is to upgrade the quality of education. In addition, the Foundation has maintained and taken charge of a certain number of schools as well as provided various school equipment, materials, and support for the activities and services provided by the educational institutions. These actions are accompanied by the support of deserving students from modest families through the distribution of school bags equipped with books, notebooks, and all the necessary school supplies.
